Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Entitlements Manager to oversee entitlements and due diligence for development projects, determining feasibility and guiding zoning approvals.

You will coordinate with public agencies, consultants, and the land development team to secure government approvals and ensure timely project entitlements. You should have a Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in land development and entitlement processes, with strong communication and project-management skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and several years in entitlements or land development.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present to diverse audiences and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage entitlements staff activities.
• Complete due diligence and feasibility analyses for projects.
• Obtain entitlements and governmental approvals for projects.
• Coordinate with consultants and public agencies on plans.
• Oversee subdivision plans, permits and approvals.
• Manage due diligence workflows with authorities and utilities.
• Prepare and review Development Agreements and technical reports.
• Travel as required to meet project needs.
