Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Entitlements Project Manager to coordinate due diligence, entitlements and land development permits for assigned projects. The role involves managing internal departments, public agencies, utilities, and consultants to secure plan approvals and permits.

The position requires strong Excel skills, MS Office proficiency, and 5–7 years of related experience. Occasional travel may be needed and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and be resourceful.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entitlements, plan approvals, and permits for projects.
• Oversee due diligence and zoning changes with jurisdictions.
• Prepare entitlement schedules to meet closing dates.
• Research project costs to create feasibility budgets.
• Liaise with utility companies and outside consultants.
• Develop pre-development schedules and manage budgets.
• Ensure timely approvals and manage risks.
• Travel as required.
