Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Entitlements Project Manager to coordinate entitlements, due diligence, and land development permits for assigned projects. The role requires managing multiple stakeholders, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely approvals and model feasibility.

You will work with internal departments, public agencies, and outside consultants, traveling as needed to support project developments. A strong background in Excel and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five to seven years related experience and/or training.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Registered planner or engineer desirable.
• Project Management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate entitlements, plan approvals & permits for assigned projects including all entitlement documents and plans.
• Manage daily due diligence activities with jurisdictional authorities for entitlements.
• Prepare and execute entitlement schedules aligned with closing dates and business plan.
• Research project costs to create feasibility budgets and determine financial viability.
• Address impediments to zoning and plan approvals to keep schedules on track.
• Review consultant scopes of work and manage outside consultant activities.
• Create pre-development schedules and coordinate with utilities.
