Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC in Audubon, PA is hiring for an Application Developer to join the Application Architecture team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into working web applications and system integrations, write tests, and document technical details.

The role supports a hybrid work arrangement, balancing on-site and remote collaboration within a dynamic grid operations environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with high-level languages including Java and .NET.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, architecture patterns and data integration methodologies.
• Expertise integrating applications with Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• M.S. in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and subject matter experts to build new web apps and features.
• Translate requirements, user stories and wireframes into working applications.
• Automate functional tests and write effective technical support documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute in a cross-functional Scrum team.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle and provide production support.
• Build strong relationships with business clients and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
