Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking a skilled application developer for the Application Architecture team. The role focuses on creating scalable web applications and system integrations, collaborating with business analysts, testers, and SMEs to translate requirements into functional software, and contributing to automated testing and documentation.

You will participate in cross-functional Scrum activities, review code, and ensure timely delivery while adapting to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent.
Proficiency in Java and .NET and other modern languages.
Experience with SDLC, architecture patterns and data integration methods.
Experience integrating apps with Oracle, MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
Master's degree in CS preferred.
Familiarity with PJM operations/markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and business experts to build web apps and integrations.
Translate business requirements and wireframes into working applications and write technical documentation.
Participate in code reviews and cross-functional Scrum team activities.
Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements to production support.
Develop, debug, and test applications and automate functional tests.
Respond to off-hours support to sustain 24x7 applications.
