Job summary
Connected Logistics seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support IOEE/IOSEE environments. You will lead end-to-end network engineering efforts, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across DLA sites.
Travel to customer locations will be required for installations and troubleshooting. The role requires five years of IT experience, DoD-style security clearances, and industry certifications (CCNP-E, CCSE).
Qualifications
- Five years of progressive IT experience with at least two projects in technical areas
- High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation required at proposal time
- Top Secret clearance required
- 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM or equivalent)
- CCNP-E and CCSE certification required
- Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Cloud+
Responsibilities
- Develops specifications for simple to moderately complex network problems
- Evaluate and mitigate risk for network STIG compliance
- Configure and deploy devices per IOEE/IOSEE standards
- Manage DLA IPv4/IPv6 address space
- Implement hardware/software refreshes and upgrades
- Conduct site surveys for infrastructure requirements
- Plan installation and design
- Provide Last Half Mile support to IO EE/IOSEE points of presence
- Track circuits in DISA Storefront
- Support classified networks and key encryption equipment
- Coordinate with vendor PMs and government reps on solutions
- Provide Tier III 24x7 on-call troubleshooting
- Develop network monitoring and real-time situational awareness
- Plan and analyze network engineering, testing and implementation
