Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the IOEE/IOSEE environments, delivering core network engineering services for secure, high-performance operation across DLA facilities. You will deploy, configure, and maintain network equipment, plan upgrades, and ensure STIG-compliant configurations while coordinating with government stakeholders.

The role requires DoD IT experience, Top Secret clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT III certifications, with travel expected up to three

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive IT experience including DoD projects
• Must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation
• Top Secret clearance and 8570/8140 DoD Baseline Certification: IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM or equivalent)
• CCNP-E and Check Point CCSE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops specifications for simple to moderately complex network problems
• Evaluate and mitigate risk for STIG compliance and security posture
• Configure and deploy devices per IOEE/IOSEE standards
• Manage IPv4/IPv6 address space for DLA networks
• Plan hardware/software refreshes and upgrades
• Conduct site surveys for space and base infrastructure requirements
• Provide Last Half Mile support connecting circuits to IOEE PoPs
• Coordinate with vendors and government users to ensure solutions
• Provide Tier III troubleshooting and 24x7x365 on-call support
• Develop real-time network monitoring and incident response processes
• Travel to multiple DLA locations as required (approx. 3 trips/year)
