Job summary

Connected Logistics in Huntsville, AL area is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support IOEE/IOSEE, develop specifications, manage IPv4/IPv6 space, and deploy secure, high-performance networks across DLA sites. The role requires ability to travel to various locations as needed and to work hybrid on-site.

Candidates should have five years IT experience, DoD security clearance (Top Secret) and DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification. Preferred CCNP-E, CCSE, and cloud certifications.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive IT experience with at least two projects in technical areas included in the scope.
• At least one project within the past three years.
• Top Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.
• Evaluate and mitigate risk for network STIG compliance.
• Configure and deploy devices per IOEE/IOSEE standards.
• Manage DLA IPv4 and IPv6 address space.
• Implement hardware/software upgrades and refreshes.
• Site surveys to determine space and base infrastructure needs.

8570/8140: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM or Equivalent)
