Walmart is seeking a Distinguished, Technical Program Manager in Sunnyvale, CA. You’ll lead enterprise-scale, multi-year initiatives spanning many teams and technicians, shaping strategy with senior engineers and architects while driving execution in ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area.
• 9 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• PM certification or MBA with strategy focus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning, and end-to-end delivery of company-wide, multi-year technical initiatives.
• Partner with Senior Engineers and Senior Architects to shape technical strategy and delivery timelines.
• Own highly ambiguous initiatives from 0 to 1 with no precedent; drive execution.
• Identify and dismantle organizational silos and friction points to optimize workflows.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board members.
• Serve as the champion for TPM discipline and mentoring across teams.
