Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community (IC).

The Senior Systems Engineer will lead assessment, planning, coordination, integration, testing, and implementation of complex systems and system modifications, managing moderately sized projects with minimal oversight while contributing technical input to new products and processes that support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
8+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or technical project experience.
Experience supporting government/defense/intelligence or mission-critical systems.
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Provide systems engineering and systems integration support across an enterprise operational environment.
Assess, plan, coordinate, schedule, and implement systems engineering projects from concept through system transition.
Manage moderately sized systems integration projects with minimal supervision and align technical activities with customer objectives.
Support installation, integration, checkout, testing, modification, and upgrade of operational systems.
Analyze system requirements and constraints to identify effective solutions.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and technical documentation.
