Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator V in Norfolk, VA to support Navy maintenance and logistics applications worldwide. The role focuses on reliability, security, and performance of Windows-based production environments and enterprise services.

The candidate will lead production operations, implement automation with PowerShell, manage AD/DNS/DHCP, and coordinate releases with cross-functional teams while ensuring DoD security compliance and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of systems administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 5 years in DoD or Federal Government production environments.
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments supporting NMMES production systems.
• Lead production deployment activities, software installations, OS upgrades, and system patching with minimal downtime.
• Monitor production system health, availability, capacity, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across OS, apps, storage, networking, auth, and infra services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to improve efficiency.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
• Support VMware virtual infrastructure including provisioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate production releases with Development, Configuration Management, DBA, and Operations teams.
• Perform disaster recovery planning, backups, restore testing, and business continuity.
• Maintain SOPs, docs, and technical diagrams.
• Support cybersecurity compliance including STIGs, patches, audits.
