ITAC Solutions is assisting a healthcare services organization in recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer for its Enterprise IT team in the Philadelphia area. The role blends hands-on administration with leadership in infrastructure strategy, standards, and modernization initiatives across a large, complex environment.

Responsibilities include managing Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware, storage, backup, and cloud services (Azure/Entra ID).

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related field.
Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, and enterprise identity services.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level engineering, administration, and support for enterprise systems infrastructure.
Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, M365, Entra ID, Azure, virtualization, storage, backup, and monitoring platforms.
Manage and support VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, with HA and clustering.
Support enterprise storage, backup and recovery, DR, and BC capabilities.
Serve as a third-level escalation point for complex server, identity, virtualization, storage, cloud, security, and performance issues.
Participate in infrastructure architecture, design, migrations, upgrades, and major initiatives.
