Job summary

General Matter in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Enterprise Systems Architect to design and govern the portfolio across ERP, MES, QMS, PLM/PDM, procurement, finance, analytics, and HRIS. You will define target architecture, data models, and secure hosting strategies, collaborating with TPMs and partners in a fast-paced environment.

You will drive multi-year roadmaps, assess risks, and mentor engineers while ensuring compliance and scalable, well-documented systems across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise systems or IT architecture with cross-functional scope.
• Led or architected at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
• Experience designing integrations across ERP, MES, QMS, PLM/PDM, etc.
• Strong data governance and system-of-record design experience.
• Knowledge of security, IAM, RBAC, and SSO in multi-system portfolios.
• Experience in regulated industries and formal certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise systems architecture across ERP, MES, QMS, PLM/PDM, CRM, and finance.
• Lead vendor evaluation and define target integration architecture with PM.
• Design scalable integrations and data flows using APIs and ETL/ELT.
• Own data architecture and master data governance across domains.
• Define hosting and data movement standards across sensitive environments.
• Translate roadmap into target-state architecture and guide engineers.
