Job summary

General Matter in Los Angeles is seeking a Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems to build and own integrations across our engineering, manufacturing, and business systems. You will oversee the PLM/PDM-to-MES pipeline, handling data such as released parts, BOMs, and engineering files, from API mapping to production monitoring.

You will write production C#/.NET code, work with REST APIs and enterprise platforms, and design the infrastructure needed to move data reliably across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems integration and enterprise or manufacturing systems.
• Hands-on experience building production integrations using REST APIs, SDKs, and custom services.
• Strong C#/.NET development experience; other languages acceptable (Python/Java/C++).
• Solid APIs, data mapping, and integration patterns knowledge; SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD (Git and modern pipelines).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering/IS/Data Science.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate integrations across MES, WMS, QMS, PLM/PDM, ERP, and expanding to CRM/HRIS.
• Own and extend the PLM/PDM-to-MES pipeline, including BOMs and engineering data.
• Develop and maintain API integrations and custom services in C#/.NET against REST APIs.
• Extend platforms via server-side scripting, query languages, workflows, and custom objects.
• Build production-grade monitoring, logging, retries, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Enforce data boundary controls with Security/IT, CI/CD and version control.
• Own data migration during implementations, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and cutover.
