Job summary

Monterey Bay Aquarium is seeking an experienced enterprise systems administrator to manage organization-wide systems and cloud services. You will administer and secure Microsoft 365 A5 platforms (Entra, Intune, Exchange, MFA/passwordless, SSO, SharePoint, Teams), ensuring reliable operations and proper documentation.

The role requires hands-on experience across servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on security and change control.

Qualifications

Two-year or four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience.
Hands-on enterprise systems administration in production environments.
Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 suite in an enterprise setting (Entra, Intune, Exchange, MFA/passwordless, SSO, SharePoint, Teams).
Knowledge of servers, storage, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, backup/recovery, monitoring and security controls.
Ability to automate routine administration using scripting and tooling.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
Configure and support Microsoft 365 A5 components including Entra, Intune, MFA, SSO, and SharePoint.
Troubleshoot availability, performance, authentication, and security issues; document findings and escalate as needed.
Implement system builds, upgrades, migrations, changes; perform testing and change records.
