Job summary

Minuteman Security & Life Safety is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations in a cloud-first Microsoft environment. You will oversee identity, endpoint, collaboration, and network services, serving as the escalation point for IT support to ensure reliability and security.

You will also support security/compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and help maintain documentation, licensing, and asset records across multiple locations with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role in a cloud-first Microsoft environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, identity and endpoint management, and networking.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to company locations and support after-hours maintenance windows.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Microsoft 365 environment including identity, email, and collaboration services.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and privileged role reviews per security policies.
• Configure endpoints and deploy software across company devices.
• Maintain office networks, wireless, and firewalls across locations.
• Administer backup/recovery with regular restore testing.
• Monitor system health and security alerts; drive remediation.
• Serve as escalation point for IT support; assist root cause analysis.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security/compliance initiatives.
