Job summary

Sunayu, LLC seeks a Storage Engineer in Bethesda, MD to optimize enterprise storage across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will design scalable storage architectures, develop roadmaps, and implement lifecycle management for mission-critical systems.

The role requires deep expertise in Dell/NetApp/Rubrik storage stacks, VMware ESX integration, and DR planning, with Top Secret/SCI clearance and 100% on-site customer work in a dynamic federal environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of storage experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
Experience administering enterprise storage systems (Dell, NetApp, Rubrik) and related technologies.
Proficiency with SAN/NAS, LUN provisioning, snapshots, and replication.
Experience with VMware ESX integration and cloud storage management.
Security clearance and DoD 8140/8570.11-IAT Level II or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer scalable storage architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
Develop designs, roadmaps, and engineering artifacts for storage initiatives.
Perform lifecycle storage management, including replacement strategies and DR planning.
Monitor performance, capacity, and reliability; implement automated operations where possible.
Coordinate with server admins, VMWare, and vendors to provision SAN resources.
Create documentation and procedures aligned with customer requirements.
