Job summary

DTCC is seeking an Enterprise Storage Architect/Engineer to lead enterprise storage strategy across on-premises and cloud environments. You will define standards, drive automation, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable storage solutions.

The role emphasizes design authority, IaC practices, and experience with block/file/object storage in hybrid setups. Strong communication and leadership are essential for influencing enterprise-wide best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale enterprise storage environments (non-mainframe).
• Demonstrated influence on architecture standards and enterprise-wide technical direction.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Strong observability knowledge including metrics, telemetry, and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve enterprise storage architecture standards, design guidelines, and SDS reference architectures.
• Design scalable block, file, and object storage solutions for enterprise workloads across hybrid environments.
• Drive automation-by-default and IaC-first delivery of storage provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Define standard observability patterns for storage platforms including metrics, logging, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Architect data protection, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions aligned with resiliency objectives.
