Job summary

Performance AI is seeking a Senior Solutions & Implementation Analyst to lead customer discovery and translate enterprise requirements into successful deployments. This role is customer-facing and requires collaboration across operations, technology, sales, product, engineering, and leadership.

The position focuses on discovery and implementation with pre-sales support, and you will own the end-to-end process from requirements to launch and adoption, reporting to the COO.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in enterprise software implementation, solutions consulting, technical business analysis, or complex customer delivery.
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into clear technical, product, workflow, data, and operational requirements.
• Understanding of enterprise systems, APIs, integrations, databases, data flows, or automation workflows.
• Ability to understand technical concepts without needing to be a software engineer.
• Experience supporting customer discovery, solution design, implementation, or post-sale delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operators, technical teams, sales teams, and end users.
• Strong ownership, prioritization, project tracking, and follow-through.
• Ability to identify risks, challenge assumptions professionally, and escalation concerns early.
• Ability to work onsite in downtown Chicago five days per week.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise customer discovery sessions covering business processes, users, systems, data sources, risks, pain points, and desired outcomes.
• Observe and document current-state workflows and design future-state workflows.
• Translate customer needs into clear business, product, engineering, data, integration, and operational requirements.
• Convert incomplete requests into defined scope, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and measurable success criteria.
• Identify risks early, including poor data quality, missing integrations, unclear ownership, limited customer readiness, and unrealistic timelines.
• Create workflow maps, requirements documents, implementation plans, decision logs, launch checklists, and executive status updates.
• Coordinate customer dependencies, approvals, system access, testing resources, and technical contacts.
• Maintain clear ownership of blockers, deadlines, risks, decisions, and next steps.
• Support configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, training, launch readiness, and post-launch stabilization.
• Escalate concerns early when scope, timelines, commitments, or customer outcomes are at risk.
