Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with customers to design and productionize data and AI solutions on the company platform. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires engineering excellence, adaptability, and a drive to translate complex technical concepts into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade solution delivery projects by designing and building reference architectures, custom applications, data ingestion and ML/AI model integration.
• Guide transformational big data projects end-to-end, including design, build and deployment with input from stakeholders.
• Embed with customer teams to understand challenges and deliver measurable impact.
• Own architecture decisions to ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs and company best practices.
• Collaborate with ENG, Project Manager, Architect and Customer teams to ensure delivery meets requirements.
