Baptist Health is a not-for-profit healthcare system seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Engineer to design, implement, manage and monitor advanced security tools and controls protecting patients, staff and data.
The role requires 5+ years of experience with enterprise security tools, deep knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac OS, and experience with data protection controls (Varonis, MIP, DLP). You will coordinate incidents, work with vendors and respond to on-call duties as needed.

The Senior Enterprise Security Engineer plan, implement, manage, monitor and enhance the utilization of best in class security tools and controls that protect Baptist Health patients, employees, data and assets. Ensure technology solutions are well vetted from a security best practice, per Baptist Health standards and applicable frameworks. Provide application and interface support, troubleshoot and work with appropriate technical resources to resolve issues. Respond to all system and/or network security breaches. Remediate and coordinate remediation of identified network and system vulnerabilities. Ensure that the organization‘s data and infrastructure are kept safe by enabling the appropriate security controls and measures. Develop and implement operational workflows and processes that enhance the efficiency of operations. Anticipate future technology and business needs to evaluate and propose proactive solutions that allow Baptist Health infrastructure and data to be kept safe. Report and communicate with relevant client departments, other technical resources and vendors. Rotational on call, 24X7 duties may be required. Estimated salary range for this position is $92955.50 - $120842.15 / year depending on experience.
