Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami, Florida, seeks a Security professional to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in security, preferably in a hospital setting, along with Basic Life Support certification. Responsibilities include supporting the administration with security management and completing required training within the first 90 days. Qualifications

• Must complete Basic Life Safety certification within 90 days from start of employment.
• Required to complete BHSF security training program within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of Baptist Health South Florida.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, guests, and employees.
• Perform backup duties to security manager/director as needed.

Description

The purpose of this position is to support the administration of Baptist Health South Florida and the divisions it supports with the provision of a safe and secure environment for the care of patients, guests and employees, the peaceful and orderly operation of business and its facilities. Estimated pay range for this position is $25.37 - $30.70 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees: High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support
• Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial)

Additional Qualifications

• At least 4 years experience in the field of security with a preference in a hospital setting.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Required to complete BHSF security training program and supplemental classes within first 90 days of employment.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and software.
• Must complete Basic Life Safety certification within 90 days from start of employment.
• Perform back-up duties to security manager and/or director as may be required from time to time.
