Job summary

Tier One Technologies seeks a Principal Enterprise Security Architect for a US Government client. The role is remote with origins in Falls Church, VA, Morrisville, NC or Eagan, MN, requiring clearance readiness and ability to pass background investigations.

You will lead security architecture across hybrid data centers and multi-cloud environments, translating risks into measurable business metrics while guiding CISO Engineering and partner teams through design reviews and governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in edge and perimeter protection (IDS/IPS, WAF/WAAP, SDWAN)
• 10+ years infra security with architecture influence
• 5+ years in a dedicated architecture role
• Deep knowledge of SASE/SSE, ZTNA, CASB
• Experience with NIST CSF / 800-53 and CIS Controls

Responsibilities

• Bridge security operations, CISO leadership, and enterprise infrastructure teams.
• Collaborate within CISO to align security with business goals.
• Enhance security posture during infrastructure modernization and cloud adoption.
• Identify gaps across hybrid data centers and multi-cloud platforms and engineer mitigations.
• Advise on architecture, threat modeling, and remediation sessions with stakeholders.
