Job summary

Glacier Bancorp, Inc. is seeking a Financial Risk Analyst to join Enterprise Risk Management. The role focuses on data-driven risk reporting, analytics, and governance across the organization, reporting to the Financial Risk Manager.

The analyst will prepare quarterly Risk Appetite Statements and various risk reports, briefing senior leadership and driving enhancements to reporting processes, data quality, and dashboards across the nine-state footprint.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and data analysis for risk management.
• Experience with dashboards, data visualization, and reporting in banking/risk domains.
• Strong Excel skills and experience building complex models and analyses.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or equivalent BI tools.
• Understanding of bank financial risks (credit, liquidity, interest rate risk).
• Experience creating executive-level reports and management dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, governance, and enhancement of Enterprise Risk Management reports, including risk appetite and board-level briefings.
• Provide challenge to risk metrics, thresholds, methodologies, and risk reporting results.
• Drive data quality, analytics, and automation of risk reports with BI tools and dashboards.
• Coordinate with business lines and risk owners to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usefulness of enterprise risk information.
