Job summary

Maximus seeks an experienced leader to own the program's engineering vision and architecture, ensuring consistency across systems and platforms. You will drive alignment with security, cloud/DevOps standards, and reuse strategies, working with enterprise teams to scale solutions beyond a single contract.

You will direct enterprise application strategy and modernization efforts, mentoring teams and managing budgets, vendors, and resources to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 7+ years of technology leadership experience managing enterprise platforms, application portfolios, or technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application strategy, architecture, engineering, integration, modernization, and operations.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
• Strong understanding of security, identity, data governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle management.
• Experience managing technology budgets, licensing, vendors, professional services, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Own technical leadership for the program, ensuring integrity, feasibility, and quality of engineering solutions.
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet contractual requirements, SLAs, performance objectives, and compliance standards.
• Lead technical decision making for scope changes, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Document scope changes with Program Manager and communicate with stakeholders.
• Act as senior technical interface with Program customers for reviews and briefings.
• Ensure tracking and transparency of technical work, schedule, reviews, and meetings.
• Set expectations for technical rigor, documentation quality, and engineering discipline.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
