Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to evaluate alternatives to Smartsheet for a large user population on a 12-month contract with strong conversion potential. The role requires gathering business requirements, assessing current usage, and recommending enterprise-grade platforms that align with standards.

You will lead stakeholder workshops, translate needs into actionable tech requirements, and collaborate with Security, IAM, and Enterprise Architecture

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst in an enterprise setting.
• Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and turning them into clear docs.
• Hands-on familiarity with work management/workflow platforms (Smartsheet, Planner, Project, Power Platform, ServiceNow).
• Experience evaluating tools, conducting gap analyses, and comparing solutions against requirements.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication; proven stakeholder facilitation.

Responsabilités

• Assess existing Smartsheet use cases across teams (project tracking, workflows, reporting, automations, integrations).
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to map processes and needs.
• Translate input into testable business and solution requirements (functional, integration, reporting, security, access).
• Categorize use cases to identify consolidation opportunities and platform needs.
• Research and evaluate alternative platforms against documented requirements and risks.
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, IAM, and EA teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
