Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Networking Solutions Engineer or Senior Solutions Engineer to support our Big Sky market. The role allows remote work within the market area (Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Eastern Idaho, Alaska).

You will deliver network designs, analyze issues, and prepare proposals with BOMs and SOWs for client projects. You will install equipment, perform upgrades, maintain client relations, and stay current with industry trends and certifications.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN solutions including switching, routing, data center, wireless, VPN, QoS, MPLS.
• Proficient in IOS, IOS‑XE and NX‑OS; experience with routers and switches.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best‑practice network designs and implementations producing reliable, available, and scalable solutions.
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and fault isolation of client network issues.
• Prepare project proposals including BOMs, engineering estimates, and SOWs.
• Provide post‑implementation documentation to clients and maintain client relationships.
• Hands‑on post‑sales engineering for networking projects.
• Install equipment and perform upgrades as needed.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with industry trends.
