Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Exton, PA is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect – Enterprise Network & Security to design, support, and optimize our global network and security infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role leads resolution of P2/P3 incidents and drives modernization while partnering with global IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching, FortiGate, Zscaler, Azure networking, SD‑WAN and Zero

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking and security experience.
3+ years in solution architecture.
Experience with large global manufacturing environments is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required; CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Design scalable enterprise network architectures for global offices, data centers, and cloud environments.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of P2/P3 network incidents, with RCA and preventive actions.
Architect and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Internet, and cloud connectivity.
Configure and optimize Cisco routing/switching, ISE, FortiGate, Zscaler, and Azure networking.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to deliver reliable services.
Create High- and Low-Level Designs, implementation plans, SOPs, and technical docs.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and operations teams.
Ensure performance, security, availability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
