Job summary

Protera seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise networks across global sites, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. You will handle routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud networking, collaborating with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to keep networks performing at peak levels.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Meraki, Check Point, and Silver Peak, plus strong incident management and IaC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks and SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites and remote locations.
• Develop scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and internet connectivity solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new networking technologies and best practices.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, standards, and technical documentation.
• Manage and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, SD-WAN, VPNs, and network monitoring platforms.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor network health, performance, and capacity.
