Job summary
Darling Ingredients is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to deliver expert level troubleshooting, design, and documentation for our global network. You will validate new solutions through PoCs and pilots, while maintaining standards and collaboration with infrastructure and application teams.
The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Infoblox DDI, and SD-WAN, and a CCNP or equivalent certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- 8+ years with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Infoblox, Catalyst/Nexus.
- Strong knowledge of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, VLANs, QoS.
- Experience supporting multi-site/global networks.
- CCNP or related certification required.
Responsibilities
- Researches new technology to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Plans, designs, implements and documents network projects.
- Defines and maintains technology standards.
- Manages backup and version-control of network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network designs and recommends fixes.
- Leads network work for mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors.
