Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize a large-scale corporate, manufacturing, and distribution network. You will own day-to-day operations, drive security controls, and ensure robust connectivity across global sites.

As part of Hubbell Unified Business Solutions, you will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to maintain high availability and align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience supporting large, multi-site enterprise networks.
• Strong experience in campus networking across multi-building environments.
• Deep knowledge of routing and switching technologies including BGP.
• Experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco ASA.
• Strong understanding of network security fundamentals including segmentation and VPNs.
• Experience with wireless networking in corporate/operational environments.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid connectivity is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain campus network infrastructure across multiple buildings, including core, distribution, and access layers.
• Support network connectivity for distribution centers and warehouse environments with high-availability and IT/OT segmentation.
• Operate and enhance the enterprise WAN across regional and global locations.
• Develop and maintain network architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Implement and manage VLANs, segmentation, and 802.1X authentication.
• Utilize secure access controls and IT/OT network separation.
• Configure and manage RBAC and privileged access using TACACS.
• Administer site-to-site VPNs and remote site integration.
• Deploy SD-WAN to improve resiliency and performance.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across sites and technologies.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; recommend improvements.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for core network.
