Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking an experienced Engineer to join the HQ Network team in Tempe, AZ, with occasional coordination from St. Louis.

You will help design, implement, and support our data-center and campus networking backbone across Cisco Nexus, NSX, AVI, F5, and Infoblox platforms. You will lead major infrastructure projects, drive modernization, and develop automation to boost reliability and efficiency while collaborating with security, architecture, and operations teams.

Qualifications

7+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
Strong data center networking knowledge and architecture principles.
Experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 or similar data center platforms.
Experience with software-defined networking (NSX).
Experience with application delivery/load balancing platforms (AVI, F5).
Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox).
Ability to lead technical projects and drive improvements.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and implement solutions across core platforms (Cisco Nexus, NSX, AVI, F5, Infoblox).
Lead major infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle initiatives.
Ensure network services meet availability, scalability, performance, security, and monitoring requirements.
Develop automation to improve efficiency and standardize management.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
