Job summary

Edward Jones in the United States seeks an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to lead design, deployment, and operations of our data center and campus network. You will guide platform modernization, automation, and incident response across Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, AVI, F5 and Infoblox-based infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in enterprise networking, strong troubleshooting, and a track record of delivering scalable, highly available solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent related work experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong experience with data center networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network architecture principles.
• Experience supporting Cisco Nexus 9000 or similar enterprise data center switching platforms.
• Experience with software-defined networking technologies, preferably VMware NSX.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, and implement solutions across core platforms such as Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, AVI, F5, and Infoblox.
• Lead major infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Ensure network services meet requirements for availability, scalability, performance, security, monitoring, automation, and supportability.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and standardize management.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across network initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies and influence roadmaps.
