Job summary

Matlen Silver seeks an experienced Senior Network Operations professional to support enterprise networks in a dynamic, global environment. You will contribute to routing and switching, IP routing, QoS, and MPLS across LAN/WAN domains, with a focus on automation, virtualization, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise in network analytics, packet capture, and industry-standard monitoring tools, and demonstrates strong communication with varied stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years experience in an Enterprise Network Operations support environment.
• Experience with Routing, Switching - LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, IPv4/v6, MPLS.
• Network Virtualization/automation: Cisco ACI, Arista fabric Network (including cloudvision and VXLAN encapsulations) , Cisco DNAC/Catalyst center, PRISMA, Palo Alto CloudGenix.
• WiFi Technologies - Aruba/CISCO wireless Controllers, Access Points, Management Platforms.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex networking problems.
• Expertise in packet capture analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump/ssldump from L2 to L7 traffic flow.
• Experienced in both proactive and reactive use of advanced network monitoring tools, including but not limited to: Netscout, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne, HPNA, IBM Watson.
• Confident, Vocal, self-starter, organized and detail oriented.
• Strong technical acumen and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management and clients.
• Skilled at aligning actions with business impact and service restoration priorities
• Demonstrates ownership, accountable and can hold others accountable (professionally).
