Job summary

Wolverine Staffing is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and support an enterprise network for our travelers, operations, and team members. This on-site Detroit position requires a strong Cisco background, CCNA certification, and 4+ years in enterprise infrastructure.

You will work with security, servers, and IT teams to ensure reliable connectivity, VPNs, VoIP, and data center services. Occasional after-hours/on-call work is expected.

Qualifications

• Four or more years design, implementation, and daily management of enterprise network infrastructure.
• CCNA certification is required.
• Experience with Cisco routing/switching, LAN/WAN, VPN, VoIP, and security services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, monitor, and support all network systems and solutions.
• Implement and support projects to meet department goals.
• Monitor network health and performance.
• Support Business Continuity testing and initiatives.
• Provide reports and metrics for performance analysis and growth planning.
• Adhere to industry standards and Authority security rules.
• Collaborate with IT teams on servers, networking, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide VMS system training for various departments and entities.
• Available after hours / On Call.
• Perform related duties as directed.
