Job summary

Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to lead our global network strategy across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will drive the SASE/ZTNA evolution, partner with Security and Cloud/Platform teams, and mentor the IT Infrastructure group from our Carpinteria office. You’ll own architecture, implement scalable automation, and coordinate with Identity and Security teams to ensure least-privilege access and robust incident handling.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise network engineering experience across routing, switching, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud topologies.
• Hands-on experience with SASE/ZTNA platforms at enterprise scale, especially ZIA/ZPA.
• Strong multi-cloud networking knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Understanding of enterprise security engineering and zero-trust policies.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term technical direction, roadmap, and reference architectures for the global network.
• Lead evolution of SASE/SSE platform, adopting secure ZTNA model and least-privilege access.
• Integrate network controls with identity providers and SIEM pipelines.
• Drive automation to manage distributed network state and standards.
• Serve as escalation lead for critical incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Mentor team through design reviews and best-in-class operational standards.
• Evaluate vendors and provide build-versus-buy recommendations aligned with compliance and performance.
