Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Network Security Engineer Senior Specialist to strengthen and evolve secure access and network security platforms across a global enterprise, leading Zero Trust transformation. Focus on SWG, Proxy, SASE, and Zero Trust architectures using Zscaler and Palo Alto technologies.

The role requires hands-on leadership, architecture ownership, and collaboration across security, infrastructure, operations, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of network security engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), SWG, Proxy, SASE, and Zero Trust deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto platforms: Panorama, NGFW, Threat Prevention, Prisma Access.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's Secure Access and Zero Trust transformation across the enterprise.
• Own architecture, engineering, and continuous improvement of Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) and Palo Alto platforms.
• Design and implement scalable security controls for internet access and private application access.
• Drive operational excellence, change management, and incident readiness across security services.
