Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security across campuses. You will lead mid to large scale projects using Cisco and Extreme switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Netscaler load balancers, Infoblox DNS, and Aruba wireless, with strong monitoring and troubleshooting discipline.

The role requires three on-site days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree required
10+ years experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise infrastructure required
5 years experience designing and managing Palo Alto firewalls required
Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools (SNMP, NetFlow, ThousandEyes) preferred
Knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs preferred

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
Lead mid to large scale network projects with minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot and support Cisco/Extreme switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and load balancers.
Ensure network security best practices and segmentation are applied.
