Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to design, support, and modernize a global enterprise network. You will act as a technical authority across wireless, NAC, routing, switching, NGFWs, and SD‑WAN, owning hardware lifecycle programs and driving engineering excellence.

You will lead cross‑site initiatives, troubleshoot complex incidents, and mentor other engineers while collaborating with procurement and field teams to ensure reliable deployment and documentation.

Qualifications

7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
Hands-on with cloud-managed wireless, NAC, NGFWs and SD-WAN.
Experience with large, multi-site enterprise networks.
Knowledge of network security segmentation and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Design governance standards across projects and promote engineering excellence.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cross‑platform incidents.
Develop scalable network components and modernize existing architecture.
Create test plans and validate network changes and deployments.
Own hardware lifecycle programs for switches, APs, firewalls, and SD‑WAN devices.
Collaborate with procurement and field teams for deployments; mentor colleagues.
