Job summary

The Office of the Attorney General in Texas is seeking a Network Architect to perform senior level enterprise network design, build, and continuous review; provide operational support for the networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN); collaborate on cross-functional projects; drive the research and implementation of new networking services and capabilities for a state-wide network.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, manage vendor support, and collaborate across teams

Qualifications

• 6 years of full-time experience with network design, installation, management, and support.
• Experience with routing and switching, firewalls, wireless, and VoIP systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Meraki switches, routers, and wireless products; familiarity with BGP, MPLS, NAC, VLANs, ACLs, HSRP, TACACS+, DHCP, DNS.
