Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Architect to shape strategy, standards, and roadmaps for a global, multi-site network across office, manufacturing, lab, and launch environments.

You will lead design reviews, drive automation, and ensure high availability, security, and operability of network services while mentoring engineers and collaborating with security, cloud, facilities, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years enterprise networking in complex production environments.
• 7+ years in technical leadership, architecture direction, or mentorship.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/Wireless, cloud networking, and security infra.

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive enterprise network architecture strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
• Lead design, review, and readiness of network infrastructure across facilities.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and supportability of services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers.
• Drive automation, validation, and repeatable engineering practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, cloud, facilities, and safety teams.
• Partner with vendors to evaluate solutions and resolve complex issues.
• Support lifecycle planning and network roadmaps.
• Stay current with networking trends.
• Assist incident response and major initiatives.
