Blue Origin seeks a Principal Network Engineer to shape and evolve our enterprise network architecture across offices, manufacturing, and launch operations. This senior individual contributor role focuses on secure-by-design, observable-by-default networks with governance, standards, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years enterprise networking in complex production environments.
• 7+ years of technical leadership/architecture ownership in enterprise networks.
• Hands-on design, troubleshooting, validation, or operation of LAN/WAN, wireless, cloud, or network security.

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive enterprise network architecture strategy, standards, and roadmaps.
• Lead design, review, and readiness of enterprise network infrastructure across offices and facilities.
• Ensure high availability, security, and supportability of network services across sites.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to network engineers.
• Drive automation and repeatable engineering practices to improve reliability and scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated secure network solutions.
• Partner with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate solutions and resolve complex issues.
• Provide input into lifecycle planning and network roadmaps.
• Stay current with networking technologies and industry trends.
