Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned integrations engineer to design and implement scalable enterprise integrations, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures. You will lead design efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive CI/CD practices across Azure-based environments.

The role emphasizes mentoring, architectural leadership, and hands-on involvement in deployment automation and observability to ensure reliable, secure solutions within higher-education-related systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information technology, engineering or related field.
• Five years of experience in systems integrations.
• Experience with educational or administrative systems in higher education environments (SIS/LMS/ERP).
• Designs RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and API Management.
• CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automated testing.
• Experience with CDC, batch processing, and file-based integration patterns.
• Experience with job scheduling and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable integrations between enterprise systems, internal apps, and third-party services.
• Design APIs and service-oriented architectures aligned with best practices and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Lead technical design efforts for projects involving significant integration or infrastructure components.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Develop and maintain scripts and infrastructure-as-code for automated provisioning, monitoring, and deployment.
