Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking a Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to lead virtualization, storage, backup, and Windows data center operations. You will mentor engineers and drive modernization while ensuring availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include VMware vSphere administration, NetApp storage, Veeam backups, Windows Server AD/DNS/DHCP, and collaboration with cybersecurity and application teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering.
• VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter administration.
• NetApp storage platforms experience.
• Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments.
• Windows Server administration incl. AD/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy/PowerShell.
• Experience with Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS hardware.
• SAN/NAS and data center operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across virtualization, storage, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize VMware vSphere environments.
• Manage NetApp storage, provisioning, snapshots, replication.
• Administer Veeam Backup & Replication and DR readiness.
• Manage Windows Server infrastructure including AD, DNS, DHCP.
• Support enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS).
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance.
• Perform upgrades, patching, firmware updates, lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Lead modernization projects involving virtualization, storage, backup, cloud.
