Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Senior Enterprise Identity Engineer to define and drive our global EIM/IGA strategy. You will shape multi-year roadmaps, lead SailPoint deployments, and mentor senior engineers across distributed teams to protect critical assets while enabling seamless business operations.

You will translate complex security concepts for executives and partner with cloud, security, and product teams to implement scalable identity solutions in a regulated, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8–10 years in Cybersecurity and Identity Management.
• 5+ years leading identity strategies in regulated multinational environments.
• Expert SailPoint design, deployment and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multi-year identity roadmap and strategy for enterprise identity (IGA/zero-trust).
• Establish enterprise-wide architecture patterns and reusable frameworks across identity, cloud, and infra.
• Architect and oversee SailPoint-based EIM deployments at global scale.
• Translate security and regulatory requirements into actionable technical strategies.
• Pioneer new identity technologies, including decentralized identity and ML-driven access analytics.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead Tier 4 escalation for complex issues.
