Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Event Program Manager / Meeting Lead to drive large-scale, high-visibility events from concept to completion. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic events, manage budgets, and optimize attendee experience.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in corporate event or program management, strong project management discipline, and proven ability to operate in a matrixed, global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate event management, program management, project management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success managing complex, high-visibility events, executive meetings, leadership forums, and enterprise programs from concept through execution.
• Strong expertise in project management disciplines, including planning, timeline management, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, governance, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design, development, project management, and execution of assigned events and programs, virtual and in-person, aligning with goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with workstreams, timelines, milestones, dependencies, communications, risk strategies, and delivery schedules.
• Drive complex, high-profile enterprise and executive events from concept through completion with cross-functional coordination.
• Support strategy development for flagship enterprise events, executive meetings, incentive programs, and unique experiences with Communications and the CEO’s Office.
• Serve as trusted advisor to executive leaders, guiding discussions on event objectives, attendee engagement, and experience design.
• Establish governance structures and planning meetings to ensure accountability and delivery across multiple teams.
