Job summary

Core & Main is seeking an Enterprise Estimator for its Critical Infrastructure Group in the United States. This role focuses on developing accurate quantity takeoffs for complex projects, supporting bid strategies, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

The position requires 5+ years of estimating experience in water/wastewater or related critical infrastructure, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and experience in design-build and value engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimation experience in water/wastewater or critical infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with design-build, value engineering, and complex bid strategies.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Produces detailed material takeoffs for critical infrastructure facilities and systems.
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, and design teams to develop competitive bid strategies.
• Leads pre- and post-takeoff meetings to ensure complete knowledge transfer with contractors.
• Mentors junior estimators and supports ongoing training for estimating personnel.
