Job summary

Toast, a technology partner for restaurants and local businesses, seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Governance to design, deploy, and scale governance programs that make data trustworthy and discoverable. You will partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Analytics to translate strategy into operational data standards.

You will lead data domain governance, policies, master metadata operations, and data literacy initiatives while measuring maturity and ROI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data governance/enterprise analytics in a high-growth tech environment (B2B SaaS experience is a plus).
• Proven experience building or scaling enterprise data governance programs from design through company-wide adoption.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive Governance Program Operations: Own and scale the Data Domain Model, ensuring domain ownership is clear and newly established domains are onboarded. Support the launch and operation of the Data Governance Council to turn strategy into action.
