Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency — Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems, streaming/real-time, lakehouse, data governance, cloud-native platforms.
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth and platform adoption in large accounts.
• Declared technical specialization with depth in real-time architectures, ML/AI platforms, or data governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for the organization’s most complex customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior-level technical relationships and act as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead complex architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) and contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams (DSAs, SSAs, Partners, Product) to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Develop competitive strategies and position Databricks against incumbents.
• Coach on technical depth and use case prioritization.
