Job summary

Freddie Mac in McLean, VA seeks an Enterprise Risk & Control professional to join the Enterprise Business Risk & Control Office. The role focuses on operational controls testing, audit, and risk assurance across Freddie Mac's first line divisions, in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will perform design and operating effectiveness tests, maintain evidence, manage data in the GRC Tool, and drive process improvements including testing automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with control testing and/or audit
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Management Information Systems, Business Administration with an emphasis in Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems or related field - preferred.
• Extensive experience with controls testing (design reviews and operational effectiveness testing)
• Preferred relevant professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CPA etc.)
• Experience testing information systems or information security preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform control test of design and test of operating effectiveness, producing thorough, high quality work papers with appropriate evidence to support conclusions
• Execute testing in adherence with procedures and documentation requirements
• Identify and elevate inconsistencies or gaps to reviewers in a timely manner
• Manage control test related data in GRC Tool for accuracy and completeness
• Challenge status quo. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes, including testing automation
